Everything in life we have the chance to learn about it: how to cook, how to work, how to start a business, how to build a house, etc... So why not learn how to live a relationship? Further, why not learn how to get marry? We, like any other couple, live our good and bad moments, conflicts, misunderstanding, and so many other "little things" that, sometimes, makes our relationship to go forward - or back. However, we think that more than live a relationship, we must to learn how to do it. Nowdays, it's usual to see happy couples giving big wedding parties and after some years (or months!), the relationship just sinks down and comes to the end. What makes marriage last or not? Why - like people used to say - after we get marriage, everything changes?

Searching for these answers, besides other deep ones, we decide to do the Course "Streghening the Bonds that Free Us" with Uttama dasi and Partha das, Hare Krishna devotees from Canada. They were in New Gokula (Pindamonhangaba - SP) in march 28, 29 and 30th. We had already done a Engaged Couple Course in the First Church Foursquare in Curitiba - PR (a amazing and fantastic experience!), but we wanted (and always want) it more!

The Course was very intense, full of acitivities, group dynamics and public interaction. As we were among friends and well-wishers, all course become a lovely and excitant place to talk about some subjects like: gender differences, values and principles, afection and physical intimacy, communication, conflicts and divorce. Everything was handled minutely, in a open and frank way to get to the point. For example, in the Hare Krishna religious life, because of misunderstood conceptions,  we may fall down in a wrong idea about detachment. This can make us sloopy with familiar responsabilities or dealing harshly and non-affectionately with our spouse. Speakers brought this theme in a very lucid and deep way, introducing the importance of the 'detachment' conception, however, misused in the case above. The coursebook is very complete and due short time we have, we kept some 'homework' exercises - what makes everything really nice, because the idea of the course keeps going at the tranquility of our homes, so we can go deeper in every subject.

So, we let in this text the message that we should medite in the possibility of studying and dedication about relationships, as the same way we are dedicated to do a prove, to improve a talent.
